Reflections of the Week

2010-06-09 11:58 (comments: 1)

Today, June 13th, 2010, we are in the mountains on our last day of the 3-day workshop Back to Basics“. The participants spent three intensive days to determine what is really important to them in life, and how well they live those items or integrate them into their life. They learned what blocks them and how they can use their strengths to overcome these hindrances. They now more clearly see where they are, and what they want. They know how they will take on the responsibility, have a clear plan and how they will tackle it. How does it look with you? Take the self-assessment now and see for yourself how happy you are with the various aspects of your life. Do you feel more “remotely controlled” or are you at the steering wheel? Do you operate or action with intention and are you following a specific goal? In the very moment where we act deliberately, where individual steps or actions are performed with a meaning, we find more fulfilment in that which we are doing. We no longer react but manage proactively. We no longer put stone over stone but build a cathedral. How meaningful are you forming your life? Perhaps you are interested to participate in the next “Back to Basics – back to that which really matters” workshop in September!?

What are your thoughts to today’s theme? Write about it here in our  Blog...

This is our purpose: to make as meaningful as possible this life that has been bestowed upon us; to live in such a way that we may be proud of ourselves; to act in such a way that some part of us lives on.

Oswald Spengler

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

To love what you do and feel that it matters - how could anything be more fun?

I have had the opportunity to attend the very first Workshop "Back to Basics" organised by Desiree Steinmann and I can only recomend this kind of Workshop to anyone. The team spirit was great, the surrounding was amazing and the outcome for me personally was just unique. I came back and felt like a new person, I am happy again and have energy to spare. All the things I was missing before. This workshop has given me so much in return that I want to keep doing it as a treat for myself.
