Synergy - a Win-Win Situation

2014-10-18 20:07 (comments: 0)

In the past weeks we talked about setting clear goals. The more focused we are, the higher our chances of success! Then we looked at our energy reserves and we talked about the importance of recognizing our energy patterns to be able to use the energy in the most efficient way.

Two weeks ago we asked the right questions to estimate and raise our motivation. (All these posts are available in my blog).

So what else do we need to create a Strong Ending of the year?

Synergy!  Synergy is defined as “The combined power of a group of things when they are working together which is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately” (Cambridge Dictionary)

Many of my clients tell me that they often feel like they are a “lone warrior”. But when we look around closely we will quickly see many possibilities of creating synergies. We can form synergies with partners, but also with like-minded people with whom we can exchange ideas, brainstorm and encourage and enrich each other.

For example, a masseur could offer a teaser workshop on massage or on stress relaxation techniques in a fitness center or in a hotel. The fitness center would benefit from an interesting event for its members and the masseur would benefit from a networking and marketing opportunity.

It’s a win-win situation

One of my clients doesn’t like baking cookies, but she is a gifted and skilled interior decorator. She has a friend who is good at baking but doesn’t have the knack for decorating. Together they can easily create great Christmas mood with delicious cookies and festive decorations!

Are you thinking about creating synergies that would help you to advance your goals? What skills or know-how do you have that could support and enrich others in your network and what could the people in your network do to help you? Could you co-operate with somebody who also targets the same audience to together create a product or service that would benefit your clients? With whom could you form a success-group, in order to support each other and poke each other’s backs when you slack or lose your focus?

So, ready, steady…..synergy! Take a moment now to find your synergy possibilities! It will make much more fun working with others!

Write about your experiences in our blog….

The whole is more then the sum of its pices.

The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but to reveal to him his own.
