Winter-Energy-Program

Finally after an amazing fall season with lots of sun and great weather, winter is coming upon us with rain, fog and cold winds. The days are short and we bundle up in thick coats, hats and warm gloves before going outside … if we go outside at all. The energizing “sunshine” is abandoning us and I am hearing more and more statements about low energy and little motivation to be active and in getting things done.

So, if you want to change this feeling of low energy and laziness, read the tips and let them inspire you to come up with your own action plan to get reenergized for this week and the whole winter season to come - starting now!

  • change your attitude - be thankful to have more time to reflect and think, or simply snuggling up and reading a good book. It is the season for turning more inwards than outwards - also a great place to be!
  • go outside no matter what - there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!
  • pay special attention to balanced food and vitamins - maybe even consider supplements
  • meditate or listen to inspiring music to be more balanced and motivated
  • do something outside of your normal routine to stimulate yourself
  • take a hot bath, go to the sauna or have a massage to pamper yourself
  • start to dance more or exercise more again - maybe even try a new sport
  • if you have trouble to stay on task, or focus on a project you really want to get done, team up with someone and act as cheerleaders (a coach is also a good option)
  • start to write a journal about your day, feelings and thoughts - also write about what you want to invite into your life in great detail
  • reward yourself for your effort and celebrate each little success
  • have fun and be playful!!!!!
