Important Goal Questions

Answer these questions to stay motivated also in tough times!

"The only lifelong, reliable motivations are those that come from within, and one of the strongest of those is the joy and pride that grow from knowing that you've just done something as well as you can do it."

- Lloyd Dobyns and Clare Crawford-Mason

Motivation! At the beginning it is often easy to have the motivation. We have a new idea or plan and that alone often brings with some energy. The longer we work on it, the motivation often wears out. Today I will give you some clear questions to ask yourself and to answer them in great detail on paper so you can come back to your answers whenever your motivation seems to fade away.

  1. How would reaching this goal change your life / business / relationship?

  2. What would reaching this goal enable you to do for your clients / yourself or your family that you can’t do now?

  3. How different would you feel about yourself / your business/job and your life?

  4. Write down one word that reflects an important way in which your life would be better if you achieved your goal.

So, are you ready to take action now and not only read the questions but also put your thoughts down on paper? As always, take the time and know that as soon as you see it black on white, it becomes more real and has more power!

"Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way." - Les Brown
